Liberalizacija tržišta i nemar prijete europskome poljodjelstvu

 
 
Strane invazivne vrste predstavljaju golemu prijetnju ne samo u Europskoj uniji nego i diljem svijeta, budući mnoge vrste uzrokuju goleme ekonomske štete i još veće gubitke. Vidjeli smo kako goleme štete i gubitke uzrokuje bakterija Xylella fastidiosa u maslinicima, zatim invazivni i agresivni azijski stršljen, gigantska šapika (poznatija kao 'gigantski svinjski korov') i drugi otrovni korovi iz roda šapika, lat. Heracleum, te brojne druge strane invazivne  vrste koje su unesene uvozom 'zaraženog' sadnog materijala i biljaka, osobito iz područja Azije i Južne Amerike.

Xylella fastidiosa
 
Mnoge strane invazivne vrste danas predstavljaju ne samo golemi problem već i golemu prijetnju europskoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji, voćnjacima, vinogradima, maslinicima, drvoredima i prirodi općenito. Danas su hrvatski stručnjaci zajedno s vinogradarima suočeni s jednom velikom prijetnjom, a to je pojava jedne vrlo opasne bolesti vinove loze poznate pod nazivom ZLATNA ŽUTICA VINOVE LOZE. Diljem Europske unije ova bolest je poznata pod francuskim nazivom FLAVESCENCE DORÉE (često samo skraćeno FD), a smatra se jednom od NAJŠTETNIJIH i NAJOPASNIJIH BOLESTI VINOVE LOZE u EUROPI. Naime, kada se ova bolest pojavi, ona se vrlo brzo širi pa oboljenje vinove loze vrlo brzo poprimi razmjere prave, velike epidemije. Štete su goleme jer bolest uzrokuje gubitak uroda grožđa te trajni gubitak zaraženih trsova. Uzročnik zlatne žutice vinove loze je FITOPLAZMA, jednostanična bakterija koja živi i umnaža se u provodnom sustavu vinove loze, tzv. floemu.
 
Širenje uzročnika zlatne žutice vinove loze uzrokuje prirodni vektor, a to je još jedna strana invazivna vrsta – AMERIČKI CVRČAK, lat. Scaphoideus titanus, koji siše biljne sokove vinove loze i tako širi zarazu. Američki cvrčak je kukac čija postojbina je Sjeverna Amerika, a hrani se na različitim biljkama iz porodice VITACEAE u koju se ubraja i vinova loza. Uvezen je „slučajno“ u Europu (kao i mnoge druge strane invazivne vrste) gdje je brzo postao vektor koji prenosi fitoplazmu, uzročnika zlatne žutice vinove loze sa zaraženih trsova na zdrave, nezaražene. Kao invazivna strana vrsta, američki cvrčak je potvrđen u slijedećim europskim državama: Portugalu, Španjolskoj, Francuskoj, Italiji, Austriji, Mađarskoj, Bugarskoj, Albaniji, Bosni i Hercegovini, Hrvatskoj, Srbiji, Sloveniji i Švicarskoj, s napomenom da možda još nije otkriven u nekim drugim državama.

Zlatna žutica vinove loze
 
Američki cvrčak otkriven je prvi puta u Hrvatskoj 2003. u vinogradima u ILOKU, NOVIGRADU i ŠTRIGOVI, a danas ga stručnjaci i vinogradari nalaze gotovo u svim hrvatskim vinogradarskim područjima. Sve sorte vinove loze mogu se zaraziti fitoplazmom zlatne žutice, ali naročitu osjetljivost na zarazu pokazale su sorte Rajnski rizling, Graševina i Silvanac. Pojava bolesti zlatne žutice vinove loze vezana je u prvom redu s prodajom odnosno kupnjom zaraženog sadnog materijala iz rasadnika. Stoga stručnjaci pozivaju sve vinogradare na oprez, te da ne kupuju jeftini sadni materijal, osobito ne onaj bez certifikata. Nažalost, u određenim slučajevima pokazalo se da čak i certifikat ne znači da sadni materijal nije zaražen. Izravnih mjera suzbijanja nema, pa se koriste neizravne mjere: sadnja zdravog sadnog materijala, suzbijanje vektora tj. američkog cvrčka te korova koji mogu biti izvor zaraze, itd. Početkom 2013. ministar poljoprivrede donio je Naredbu o poduzimanju mjera za sprječavanje širenja i suzbijanje zlatne žutice vinove loze (NN 7/13) koju uzrokuje vrlo patogeni mikroorganizam – fitoplazma zlatne žutice vinove loze.   
 
U skladu s Naredbom (NN 7/13), prvo suzbijanje američkog cvrčka provodi se nakon cvatnje vinove loze sredinom lipnja, a 2-3 tjedna kasnije provodi se drugo tretiranje, dok se treće tretiranje provodi prema potrebi (najčešće krajem srpnja) a na osnovi ulova cikade/cvrčka na žutoj ljepljivoj ploči. Vinogradari su obvezni redovito pregedavati vinograd(e), a u slučaju pojave simptoma ove zaraze moraju odmah obavijestiti nadležnog fitosanitarnog inspektora koji će uzeti uzorke vinove loze i poslati ih u laboratorij na analizu. Zlatna žutica vinove loze može se sa sigurnošću utvrditi jedino molekularnim i serološkim metodama u laboratoriju.
Crvena palmina pipa
 
Sljedeću veliku prijetnju predstavlja AZIJSKA STRIZIBUBA, lat. Anaplophora chinensis, veliki polifagni kukac koji napada više od 100 vrsta različitog bjelogoričnog drveća i grmova, dok najveću zabrinutost daje njegova pojava u VOĆNJACIMA AGRUMA ili citrusa (limeta, limun, naranče, tangor - hibrid mandarine i naranče i dr.). Azijska strizibuba može živjeti u suptropskoj i umjerenoj klimi, a pretpostavlja se da bi mogao opstati u većem dijelu Europe. Prirodna staništa azijske strizibube su područja istočne Azije: Kina, Tajvan, Koreja, Japan, Mianmar (nekada Burma), Vijetnam, gdje se smatra opasnim štetnikom.
 
Azijska strizibuba je unesena u SAD, Francusku i Italiju i to pretežito u URBANA PODRUČJA uvozom drvenog materijala ili „egzotičnih“ sadnica - često su to BONSAI biljke iz navedenih zemalja. Smatra se da su je uspjeli iskorijeniti, jedino se u ITALIJI populacija azijske strizibube širi te postaje sve veći problem. Pravi utjecaj azijske strizibube na europske ekosustave nije poznat, međutim štete bi mogle biti vrlo velike jer ovaj kukac napada brojne vrste drveća i grmova, uključujući i one ukrasne, osobito RUŽE i druge biljke iz porodice RUŽA. Azijska strizibuba smatra se jednom od najdestruktivnijih vrsta kukaca-štetnika jer u svojoj prirodnoj postojbini nanosi goleme štete i ekonomske gubitke u voćnjacima agruma, dok tuneli u drvetu koje buše larve azijske strizibube uzrokuju drastično smanjenje vrijednosti drvene građe ili ju potpuno obezvrijede. Nadalje, poznato je da azijska strizibuba može prouzročiti velike štete i u voćnjacima JABUKA, ORAHA PEKANA, KRUŠAKA, KUMKVATA, a štetan je i za hibiskus, fikus, jablan, japanski crveni cedar, HRAST, američku platanu („sikamor“) itd.

Scaphoideus titanus
 
U SAD-u je azijska strizibuba prvi puta utvrđena u travnju 1999. a uvezena je iz KINE uvozom BONSAIA. U Europi je prvi puta otkrivena 2000. u Italiji, a potom 2003. u Francuskoj. U Velikoj Britaniji je otkrivena 2008. (Essex), u Njemačkoj u lipnju 2008., te u Nizozemskoj. U Njemačkoj je uvezena jedna biljka pod nazivom japanski javor (lat. Acer palmatum) ali je srećom kukac na vrijeme otkriven i sva drva su bila uništena pa se kukac nije proširio (barem se tako pretpostavlja). U Hrvatskoj je azijska strizibuba otkrivena i potvrđena prvi puta u rujnu 2007. u rasadniku u TURNJU kraj Zadra. U Hrvatskoj bi se azijska strizibuba mogla udomaćiti na različitim vrstama voćaka, ukrasnog i šumskog drveća i drugog bilja, a posebno su u OPASNOSTI HRAST LUŽNJAK I HRAST KITNJAK, GORSKI JAVOR, KLEN, MLIJEČ, BUKVA, POLJSKI JASEN i dr. Azijska strizibuba se ubraja u karantenske štetne organizme i nalazi se na EPPO listi A2.
 
Budući se unosi prometom različitih vrsta proizvoda – bilja i biljnih dijelova, drvene ambalaže i drvenim materijalom za pakiranje i sl. potreban je strogi nadzor zbog sprječavanja unosa i širenja azijske strizibube kao i svih ostalih karantenskih štetnih organizama. Važno je RANO OTKRIVANJE azijske strizibube što i nije lako niti jednostavno, a u tu svrhu koriste se različite metode otkrivanja stadija imaga azijske strizibube: hranidbeni mamci, feromonske lovke, akustični detektori, korištenje X-zraka i DRESIRANI PSI. Nadzor, praćenje i rano otkrivanje vrlo su važni jer su simptomi napada i nastale štete uočljivi tek onda kada je šteta već učinjena. A napad azijske strizibube na sadnice, drveće, uključujući i voćke te grmlje u pravilu dovodi do PROPADANJA I SUŠENJA NAPADNUTE BILJKE.

Slijedeća dva strana „uljeza“ koji nanose štete su veliki kukci: CRVENA PALMINA PIPA, lat. Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, te atraktivan leptir (moljac) PALMIN DRVOTOČ, lat. Paysandisia archon, čija odrasla jedinka ima raspon krila od 9 do 11 cm. Crvena palmina pipa je štetnik palme veličine do 4 cm podrijetlom iz južne Azije koji se počeo širiti prema zapadu sredinom 1980-ih godina prošlog stoljeća. U Egiptu je prvi puta otkriven 1992.; na području Sjeverne Afrike ovaj štetnik uzrokovao je golemu devastaciju na plantažama datulja. U Španjolskoj je crvena palmina pipa registrirana još 1996. ali sve do sredine 2000-ih nisu bile vidljive prave štete i goleme posljedice. Potom je crvena palmina pipa registrirana u južnoj Italiji 2004., Grčkoj 2005., a 2006. u Francuskoj i na Cipru, 2007. u Portugalu i na Malti, 2009. u Sloveniji itd. Palmin drvotoč potječe pak iz Južne Amerike, a u Europi je prvi puta potvrđen 2001. u Španjolskoj. U Hrvatskoj su oba navedena štetnika palmi potvrđena 2011.
 
Ovi veliki štetnici palmi – crvena palmina pipa i palmin drvotoč napadaju gotovo sve vrste palmi, a najčešće palme iz porodice palmovki, lat. Arecaceae koje srećemo i na obali našeg Jadrana. Crvena palmina pipa najviše napada kanarsku datulju, zatim visoku i nisku žumaru te končastu palmu. Upravo je kanarska datulja, Phoenix canariensis, podrijetlom s Kanarskih otoka, najraširenija i najpopularnija palma u Italiji i Francuskoj - ona je naročito osjetljiva na crvenu palminu pipu. Palmin drvotoč naročito napada žumare, ali i on kao i crvena palmina pipa napada i brojne druge vrste palmi.
 
Ubrzano širenje ovih štetnih kukaca uzrokovano je liberalizacijom svjetskog tržišta ZARAŽENIM SADNIM MATERIJALOM. Budući da ovi štetnici nisu bili poznati u Europi i na području cijelog Sredozemlja, nepoznavanje njihove biologije uzrokovalo je goleme gubitke i velike štete: tako su na primjer privatni vrtlari još 2004. (!) u Francuskoj upozoravali na crvenu palminu pipu, ali su stručnjaci odbacili njihova zapažanja smatrajući da ovaj kukac ne će imati devastirajući značaj na palme. Ličinke crvene palmine pipe i gusjenice palminog drvotoča djeluju DEVASTIRAJUĆE jer hraneći se buše hodnike u palmama. Njihova ishrana stoga uzrokuje postupno propadanje odn. umiranje palmi što vrlo dugo ostaje NEUOČLJIVO, a kada postane vidljivo tada je već kasno. A posljedica je neminovo potpuno uništenje palme. Budući se radi o najznačajnijim štetnicima palmi u Europi, oba navedena kukca-štetnika imaju STATUS KARANTENSKI ŠTETNIH ORGANIZAMA. I u RH je stoga zakonom propisano obavezno sprječavanje širenja i suzbijanje obje vrste štetnika palmi, a zaraženi materijal mora se HITNO UNIŠTITI.  
 
U Italiji je crvena palmina pipa uzrokovala i uzrokuje goleme štete od Sicilije do sjevernog dijela talijanske Rivijere. Desetci tisuća palmi je do sada uginulo ili je na tome putu zbog posljedica napada goleme „armije“ ovog nezasitnog kukca, nestali su prepoznatljivi vrtovi čuvenih talijanskih vila, stradale su šetnice uz more, parkovi i brojni vrtovi itd. u mnogim najpoznatijim turističkim destinacijama Italije (na primjer u selima Cinque Terre u Liguriji – područje koje se od 1997. nalazi na popisu UNESCO-ve Svjetske baštine, zatim u Toskani, Sardiniji pa sve do Jadranske obale). No, isto tako su stradali i čuveni drvoredi i šetnice na poznatoj Francuskoj Rivijeri, osobito u Nici i Cannesu koji je inače prepoznatljiv po čuvenom bulevaru, Boulevard de la Croisette upravo zbog VISOKIH PALMI. Samo u Francuskoj godišnja šteta koju prouzroče ovi palmini štetnici procijenjuje se na više od jedan milijun eura, dok su gubitci gotovo 80% za palme kanarske datulje.
 
Palme nisu europskog podrijetla, ali su ih u Europu iz tropskog i suptropskog područja donijeli aristokrati i pomorci kako bi uljepšali i obogatili vrtove i šetnice uz more itd. Danas palme predstavljaju golemi prepoznatljivi značaj za sredozemni okoliš i krajobraze te imaju i ekonomski i kulturni značaj u svim državama Sredozemlja odnosno Mediterana. No, sada je veliko pitanje hoćemo li uspjeti ne samo sačuvati, nego SPASITI palme koje su od golemog značaja za cijelo područje Sredozemlja.

Teški napad na privatnost

 
 
U kanadskom gradu Otawi održan je Sedmi svjetski kongres asocijacije International Education koja uključuje najveće organizacije, udruženja i sindikate učitelja, nastavnika, sveučilišnih profesora, znanstvenika i drugih djelatnika iz područja obrazovanja diljem svijeta. Sudionici otawskog skupa - predstavnici spomenutih organizacija iz Velike Britanije, SAD-a, Kanade, Portugala, Njemačke, Grčke, Irske, Francuske i Novog Zelanda – uputili su sa svoga skupa zahtjev da se TTIP, TISA, ČETA, TPP i slični trgovinsko-investicijski sporazumi zaustave, navodeći za to razloge viđene iz perspektive područja kojim se bave obrazovanja.

Education international, naime, dugo se već protivi spomenutim pregovorima kojima se želi komercijalizirati i privatizirati javne usluge, uključujući obrazovanje. Uvjereni su, kako navode u izjavi, da su ti sporazumi izravna prijetnja za pružanje kvalitetnih javnih usluga jer ograničavaju vladama mogućnost reguliranja u javnom interesu, potiču daljnju liberalizaciju usluga i širenje prava multinacionalnih korporacija. I Europsko udruženje sveučilišta (EUA, European University Association) pomno prati tokove pregovora. Prigoda kad su se u siječnju ove godine susreli u Bruxellesu na nacionalnoj konferenciji rektora iskorištena je da sastave i objave deklaraciju o TTIP-u i TiSA-i, te pozovu Europsku komisiju da javnost uvjeri kako će javno školstvo biti zaštićeno od komercijalizacije.
 
Pod pritiskom javnosti TTIP je donekle izronio iz pregovaračke sjene. Radi se o sporazumu za koji kritičari upozoravaju da uključuje deregulaciju, odnosno smanjenje postojećih sigurnosnih standarda vezanih uz hranu, okoliš, socijalnih i drugih standarda, zatim omogućuje privatnom sektoru slobodniji pristup tržištu, uključujući i javne službe (zdravstvo, školstvo, financijski sektor, voda itd.). Treći istaknuti problem je arbitražni mehanizam koji omogućuje korporacijama da u odvojenom pravnom sustavu tuže vlade donesu li zakone i regulatorne standarde koji korporacijama ugrožavaju profit.
 
No, taj je mehanizam Europski parlament nedavno odbacio, a predložen je novi pravosudni sustav koji bi ga trebao zamijeniti. Taj novi sustav privatnih arbitražnih sudova, kako su upozorili iz OraH-a, također predstavlja izdvojeni paralelan pravosudni okvir rezerviran za investitore. Stoga, iako je postignut kompromis jer se ista stvar nazvala drugačiji imenom, konkretne promjene koje bi štitile interese država i građana ovim sporazumom, nisu donijete. Ako je TTIP - ugovor čija je deseta runda proteklog tjedna odrađena u Bruxellesu - javnosti sve poznatiji, TiSA je sporazum o kojemu se u javnosti vrlo malo zna. Pregovori su počeli paralelno s pregovorima o TTIP-u, no 0 njima se nije znalo gotovo ništa dok prošle godine nisu procurile informacije putem Wikileaksa, nastavljajući curiti 1 dalje. Ne samo što se s pregovorima počelo u supertajnosti, nego se zahvaljujući curenju informacija saznalo da bi sadržaj sporazuma TiSA trebao ostati tajan pet godina nakon što stupi na snagu ili - ne bude li usvojen - od zaključenja pregovora! Upitan čemu takva supertajnovitost, zašto se o TiSA-i tako malo govori u javnosti, pa je, osim šturih informacija sa službenih stranica EU-a, glavni izvor informacija Wikileaks, Davor Škrlec, zastupnik u Europskom parlamentu iz stranke OraH, rekao nam je: ...nova Europska komisija postupak pregovaranja učinila je transparentnijim, tako da su osim općih objava postale dostupne i ostale informacije iz pregovora poput pregovaračkih stavova EU-a. U Europskom parlamentu imamo redovne konzultacije s povjerenicom za trgovinu Cecilijom Malmström, a nedavno je organizirana i javna tribina na tu temu.

Dodao je, također, kako u državama članicama EU-a s tradicijom sudjelovanja građana u demokratskim procesima odlučivanja nije slučaj da se u javnosti o ovome sporazumu malo govori, ali u državama poput Hrvatske, javnost još uvijek nije zainteresirana za takve procese. Nažalost, vlast i političke elite u Hrvatskoj nisu zainteresirane za promjene u procesima odlučivanja i uključivanja građana jer im to ostavlja veliki prostor za manipulaciju i koruptivne radnje. Britanski list Guardian donosi kako će se, sudeći po sadržaju poglavlja TiSA-e o nacionalnoj sigurnosti, teško ugroziti pravo građana na privatnost, toliko da će njihov pokušaj da nešto skriju biti protumačen ili kao prekršaj protiv slobodne trgovine ili kao nastojanje da se potkopa nacionalnu sigurnost, a čak i ako građani izaberu vladu koja obeća preokrenuti taj trend neće biti koristi budući da će sama vlada vjerojatno biti tužena jer će ugovori sadržavati sve potrebne pravne instrumente za to potrebne.
 
Upitan da to komentira, Davor Škrlec rekao nam je da, za razliku od ostalih pregovaračkih procesa poput TTIP-a, CETA-e, u TiSA-i nije predviđen mehanizam poput ISDS-a. Pregovarački stav Europske unije je da sve što je u području nacionalne sigurnosti te sve usluge financirane javnim novcem - javno obrazovanje, javno zdravstvo, itd. neće biti predmet pregovora. Hoće li se taj stav i održati tijekom pregovora koji se u rundama odvijaju u Ženevi, tek će se vidjeti.
Što je TiSA
 
TiSA je Sporazum o trgovini uslugama; u tijeku su pregovori između 24 članice WTO-a, među kojima je i EU koja predstavlja sve svoje članice; zajedno, ove zemlje čine 70 posto svjetske trgovine uslugama. TiSA-i je cilj, kako je navedeno na stranicama Europske komisije, otvaranje tržišta, poboljšanje pravila u područjima kao što su licenciranje, financijske usluge, telekomunikacijske usluge, e-trgovina itd. U javnosti se upozorava daje zapravo riječ o privatizaciji svih usluga, uključujući i obrazovanje, zdravstvo, vode, te da bi svaka takva privatizacija bila ireverzibilna - dakle, nema natrag, kao što se događalo u Europi da se privatizacija vodovoda, željeznica... poništi zbog porasta cijena i pada kvalitete usluga.

Formaldehid je otrovan, a TTIP opasan

 
 
Genetski modificirana soja u crijevu stvara formaldehid. Da, dobro ste pročitali, ovo nije nikakva zabuna ili pogrješka. Već dugo vrijeme brojni stručnjaci, znanstvenici i liječnici upozoravaju na opasnost genetski modificiranih organizama i genetski modificirane hrane za ljudsko zdravlje ali i za zdravlje životinja. Nitko normalan zaista nikada ne bi svoju obitelj, osobito djecu hranio formaldehidom, i to potpuno svjesno, namjerno i svakodnevno. „Za takvo nešto morali biste zaista biti patološka osoba“ napisao je William Engdahl u svojem nedavno objavljenom tekstu o ovom najnovijem znanstvenom otkriću („A Killer-Diller: GMO Soy makes formaldehyde in our gut“ 27. 7. 2015.). Međutim, upravo to se i događa u stvarnosti jer stotine milijuna OBITELJI diljem svijeta zaista to i rade ali potpuno nesvjesno jer o tome ne znaju ništa.

Naime, sredinom srpnja (2015.) objavljena je znanstvena studija u znanstveno-recenziranom časopisu „Agricultural Sciences“ čiji rezultati nedvojbeno dokazuju da je konzumiranje genetski modificirane soje opasno za zdravlje čovjeka jer GOMILANJEM FORMALDEHIDA uzrokuje kumulativni toksični učinak u organizmu uz istovremeno drastično smanjenje esencijalnog antioksidanta. Konzumiranje genetski modificirane soje i njezinih proizvoda ima isti učinak na zdravlje čovjeka i životinja – to je kao da svakodnevno popijete otrovni koktel.
 
Ovu znanstvenu studiju proveo je dr. V. A. Shiva AYYADURAI, sistemski biolog obrazovan na čuvenom MIT-u, i to korištenjem nove metode sistemske biologije „CytoSolve“ kojom je integrirao 6.497 laboratorijskih eksperimenata 'in vitro' i 'in vivo' u 184 znanstvene institucije iz 23 države svijeta. Provedena studija jasno i nedvojbeno otkriva dramatično gomilanje formaldehida koji je poznat i svrstan u karcinogene tvari, Razred I., uz istovremeno DRASTIČNO SMANJENJE GLUTATIONA, antioksidanta koji je esencijalan i stoga neophodan za staničnu detoksikaciju. Ovaj izvanredan i briljantan nalaz odnosi se na genetski modificiranu soju kao i na sve proizvode od GM soje te proizvode koji u svojem sastavu imaju sastojak od GM soje. Rezultati ove znanstvene studije dovode u pitanje fundamentalne osnove i kontrolne procedure kako u SAD-u tako i u EU-u na temelju kojih državne agencije donose odluke i daju „zeleno svjetlo“ za određene genetski modificirane proizvode jer su oni SIGURNI za zdravlje čovjeka i životinja.
 
Medicinski stručnjaci, liječnici i znanstvenici koji su pažljivo proučili i revidirali znanstvenu studiju dr. V.A.Shiva Ayyaduraia izjavili su: „...Rezultati otkrivaju kako „malena,“ izdvojena / pojedinačna rekombinantna DNK može stvoriti 'veliki' nepredvidljivi sistemski poremećaj u ravnoteži molekularnog sustava. Prema dokazanim promjenama posve je jasno da se nikako ne može reći da su genetski modifcirani organizmi i genetski ne-modificirani (tj. konvencionalni) organizmi JEDNAKI, odnosno „BITNO EKVIVALENTNI.“
 
Sada se ponovno postavlja jedna važno pitanje: kako je američka Uprava za hranu i lijekove (FDA) koja je kao vladina agencija odgovorna za sigurnsot hrane koju konzumiramo, ispitala sigurnost genetski modificiranog sjemena i hrane? Istiniti odgovor glasi: NIKAKO I NIKADA nije ispitana sigurnost GMO-a. Je li to zaista moguće? Odgovor je: „DA, moguće je.“ A evo i zašto. Razlog je izvrsno objasnio i William Engdahl u svojoj izvrsnoj knjizi „SJEME UNIŠTENJA – geopolitika genetski modificirane hrane i globalno carstvo.“

Sada se moramo vratiti u 1992. kada je predsjednik SAD-a George H.W. BUSH „otvorio Pandorinu kutiju GMO-a. Jednom izvršnom uredbom utvrdio je da su genetski modificirani usjevi i hrana „bitno ekvivalentni“ tradicionalno uzgajanim usjevima iste sorte, primjerice kukuruza, soje i riže. Doktrina o „bitnoj ekvivalentnosti“ bila je zaštitna značka ukupne GMO revolucije. Njome se željelo reći da se genetski modificirane usjeve može držati jednakima konvencionalnim usjevima samo zato što se genetski modificirani kukuruz, soja ili riža naoko ni po čemu ne razlikuju od običnoga kukuruza, soje ili riže.“ Ozbiljni i savjesni znanstvenici upozoravali su od samog početka da je koncept o „bitnoj ekvivalentnosti“ sam po sebi pseudoznanost. „On je, kako je istaknuo znanstveni časopis 'Nature' osmišljen u prvome redu da bi bio izlika za nedonošenje zakona koji bi zahtijevao biokemijska i toksikološka ispitivanja.“
 
Dr. Ray SEIDLER, bivši viši znanstvenik američke Agencije za zaštitu okoliša (EPA) komentirao je najnovije rezultate istraživanja dr. Ayyaduraia te istaknuo da ovo otkriće zahtjeva nova istraživanja s ciljem otkrivanja zašto i kako je u genetski modificiranoj soji došlo do promjene u koncentraciji glutationa uz istovremeno stvaranje opasnog karcinogenog formaldehida te posebno dodao: „Formaldehid je poznat kao karcinogena tvar. Njegova prisutnost u genetski modificiranoj soji uzrokovana je genetskim inženjeringom te stoga 'poziva na uzbunu' i zahtijeva trenutnu pažnju i djelovanje od strane FDA i administracije predsjednika Obame.“

U SAD-u se danas pretežito uzgaja genetski modificirana soja koja se svakodnevno konzumira u brojnim prehrambenim proizvodima, a ono što najviše zabrinjava je to što se nalazi i u hrani, tzv. 'formulama' namijenjenim prehrani dojenčadi kao i u brojnim drugim prehrambenim proizvodima namijenjenim bebama i djeci. Ovdje je potrebno svakako naglasiti sljedeće: formaldehid je otrovan, on se koristi i kao dezinficijens u brojnim proizvodima. Također se koristi i u svrhu tzv. biološkog konzerviranja te balzamiranja. Nažalost, često se koristi i u kozmetičkim proizvodima, uključujući i lakove i 'sjajila' za nokte.  U rujnu 2007. Europska unija donijela je zakonsku odredbu kojom se zabranjuje korištenje formaldehida kao biocida i to zbog njegove kancerogenosti (Uredba o biocidnim proizvodima, Direktiva 98/8/EC). No, danas se formaldehid posve legalno koristi u prehrani – on se gotovo svakodnevno konzumira jer se nalazi u brojnim prehrambenim proizvodima koji sadrže genetski modificiranu soju ili potječu od nje, uključujući i proizvode domaćih životinja hranjenih genetski modificiranom sojom (prvenstveno se to odnosi na goveda, svinje i perad).
 
Danas su Sjedinjene Države vodeći svjetski proizvođač i izvoznik genetski modificirane soje, uključujući i sojinog brašna koje se mnogo koristi u mješavinama hrane za prehranu životinja, osobito onih u intenzivnom uzgoju: 94 % soje potječe iz genetski modificiranog uzgoja. Odmah iza SAD-a slijedi ARGENTINA kao drugi najveći svjetski proizvođač GM soje budući je bivši argentinski korumpirani predsjednik Carlos S. MENEM (predsjednik Argentine od 1989.-1999.) još 1990-ih dao MONSANTU ekskluzivno pravo na uzgoj genetski modificirane soje. Današnja proizvodnja soje u Argentini je gotovo 100 % GMO. Treći najveći proizvođač genetski modificirane soje je BRAZIL – čak 85 % proizvodnje soje odnosi se na genetski modificiranu soju. Svatko tko danas živi u Europskoj uniji, SAD-u ili čak Kini, te konzumira sojino mlijeko kao zamjenu za kravlje mlijeko, ili konzumira prehrambene proizvode koji sadrže soju, ljudi koji konzumiraju soju i sojine proizvode kao zamjenu za meso (vegetarijanci i vegani) itd. MORAJU ZNATI DA U PRAVILU SOJA POTJEČE IZ GENETSKI MODIFICIRANOG UZGOJA, stoga je uvijek važno kontrolirati podrijetko soje, sojinih proizvoda i sastojaka.
 
Na kraju ponovimo još jednom: KONZUMIRANJE GENETSKI MODIFICIRANE SOJE U ORGANIZMU DOVODI DO STVARANJA I GOMILANJA TOKSIČNOG I KANCEROGENOG FORMALDEHIDA UZ ISTOVREMENO DRASTIČNO SMANJENJE GLUTATIONA KOJI JE ESENCIJALNI ANTIOKSIDANT I OD VITALNOG JE ZNAČAJA JER IMA ULOGU U DETOKSIKACIJI STANICA. Potrebno je još jednom vrlo dobro promisliti o međunarodnim trgovinskim sporazumima slobodne trgovine i otvorenog tržišta, osobito o TTIP-u budući ipak nije sve onako kako nam govore i kako nas obavještavaju.
