MEETING G2 kreće na turneju po Hrvatskoj
U zadnjem newsletteru objavili smo datum našeg ovogodišnjeg okupljanja: idući MEETING G2.11 održat će se sredinom listopada, 17. i 18. (petak i subota).
A sada prvi put objavljujemo i lokaciju novog poslovnog okupljanja domovinske i iseljene Hrvatske. Domaćin će biti – grad Novska.
Nakon što smo prvih pet konferencija uživo održali u Zagrebu, dvije „pod koronom“ bile su hibridne, a onda smo se s vinskim skupom u ljeto 2022. vratili u Zagreb. Nakon toga MEETING G2 prvi je put izašao iz Zagreba. Namjerno smo odabrali Sisak jer smo htjeli prikazati bogate poslovne potencijale Banovine i ubrzati obnovu nakon potresa.
Jubilarna 10. konferencija lani se opet vratila u Zagreb, no sada nakon 10. rođendana – MEETING G2 kreće na turneju po Hrvatskoj. Prva postaja: Grad Novska, čiji nas čelnici već dvije godine zovu u goste. Posebno uporne bile su gradonačelnica Marija Kušmiš i ravnateljica Razvojne agencije Grada Novske – NORA Vida Iličić koje su koncept Meetinga G2 prvi put upoznale u Sisku. Oduševljene visokom razinom skupa, pozitivnom energijom, nizom gostiju iz iseljeništva i kvalitetnim poslovnim idejama – srdačno su nas pozvale u svoj grad.
Udruga MEETING G2 njihov je poziv prihvatila s veseljem, iako smo dobili pozive nekoliko većih hrvatskih gradova. I mi smo oduševljeni vizijom i energijom Novske pa vjerujemo u odličan novi MG2 – sredinom listopada!

MEETING G2.11 TO BE HELD ON OCTOBER 17-18 – IN NOVSKA!
In our latest newsletter, we announced the dates for this year’s gathering: the upcoming MEETING G2.11 will take place in mid-October, on the 17th and 18th (Friday and Saturday).
And now, for the first time, we are revealing the location of this new business event connecting Croatia and its diaspora. The host city will be – Novska.
After holding the first five conferences live in Zagreb, followed by two hybrid events during the pandemic, we returned to Zagreb in the summer of 2022 with a wine-themed gathering. That marked the beginning of a new chapter, as MEETING G2 stepped outside Zagreb for the first time. We deliberately chose Sisak to showcase the rich business potential of Banovina and to help accelerate post-earthquake reconstruction.
Last year’s 10th anniversary conference returned to Zagreb, but now, after celebrating a decade of success, MEETING G2 is embarking on a tour across Croatia. The first stop: the city of Novska, whose leaders have been inviting us for two years. Particularly persistent were Mayor Marija Kušmiš and the Director of Novska’s Development Agency – NORA, Vida Iličić, who first encountered the Meeting G2 concept in Sisak. Enthralled by the high level of the event, its positive energy, the presence of numerous guests from the diaspora, and the quality of business ideas, they warmly extended an invitation to their city.
The MEETING G2 Association gladly accepted their offer, even though we received invitations from several larger Croatian cities. We are equally impressed by the vision and energy of Novska, and we are confident that the next MG2 in mid-October will be a fantastic event!

Grad Novska već je prepoznat kao središte „gaming“ industrije u Hrvatskoj kroz dosadašnja ulaganja u poduzetničku infrastrukturu, edukacije i poticanje start-upa u ovom sektoru, a sada će to postati i na regionalnoj razini, zahvaljujući izgradnji prvog Centra gaming industrije koji će obuhvatiti zgradu fakulteta, studentski dom, bazene i druge sportske terene. U Novskoj prevladava pozitivna poduzetnička klima, što potvrđuju broj registriranih poslovnih subjekata koji raste iz godine u godinu, te dolazak stranih investitora u Poduzetničku zonu gdje ih privlače povoljni uvjeti kupnje zemljišta, razvijena komunalna infrastruktura i dobar prometni položaj.
U Novskoj ističu da su grad koji brine o svim sugrađanima jer osiguravaju usluge za starije građane u cilju prevencije institucionalizacije, ali istodobno i stavljaju fokus na zadržavanje i privlačenje mladih obitelji kroz razne mjere kao što su financijska potpora za kupnju prve nekretnine, potpora za svako novorođeno dijete, izgradnja novih vrtića i stambenih zgrada, uređenje dječjih i sportskih igrališta itd.

Novska has already been recognized as the center of the gaming industry in Croatia through its investments in entrepreneurial infrastructure, education, and startup support in this sector. Now, it is set to establish itself as a regional leader, thanks to the construction of the first Gaming Industry Center, which will include a university building, student dormitory, swimming pools, and various sports facilities.
Novska fosters a thriving entrepreneurial climate, evidenced by the growing number of registered businesses each year and the increasing interest of foreign investors. They are drawn to the city’s business zone due to favorable land purchase conditions, well-developed infrastructure, and excellent transport connections.
The city also prioritizes the well-being of all its citizens. It provides services for the elderly to prevent institutionalization while simultaneously focusing on retaining and attracting young families. Initiatives include financial aid for purchasing a first home, support for newborns, the construction of new kindergartens and residential buildings, as well as the development of playgrounds and sports fields.

Najveći broj turista glasovao je za Hrvatsku, pa je upravo Lijepa naša proglašena najboljom državom za posjet u 2025. godini. Velika je to čast za sve nas koji tu živimo, ali i za sve Hrvate diljem svijeta. No istodobno to je i obveza jer svoju kuću/domovinu moramo držati urednom i čistom, ne samo zbog gostiju, nego prije svega – zbog nas samih.
